摘 要:This paper is an empirical study to investigate the impacts of China's services tradeliberalization on manufacturing productivity. The measures of China's services liberalizationare based on geography schedule of the China's WTO commitments on the key servicessectors. By using Chinese manufacturing firm-level data covering the period from 1998 to2007, we find that services trade liberalization promotes manufacturing productivity. Andthe productivity impacts are uneven, which are stronger for foreign invested firms, state-owned enterprises, exporters, firms with large scales and firms with much service usage.
