一、課程名稱：Knowledge Diffusion in Trade

四、課程內(nèi)容：

This short course is for graduate students interested in quantitative methods in international trade. We will focus on recent developments in modeling knowledge diffusion in international trade, with an emphasis on probabilistic tools to think about technology growth. Students will learn quantitative methods in international trade, probabilistic tools, dynamic modeling strategies.

Course outline:

Day 2: Knowledge Diffusion and Multinational Firms

Day 3: Knowledge Diffusion and Spatial Growth

五、授課教師介紹

蔡晟，香港城市大學(xué)經(jīng)濟金融系助理教授，研究方向為國際貿(mào)易與經(jīng)濟增長。2023年5月獲得耶魯大學(xué)博士學(xué)位，師從國際貿(mào)易領(lǐng)域著名學(xué)者Samuel Kortum和Lorenzo Caliendo，擔任Journal of International Economics的審稿人。
